Mooring buoys
Unsinkable mooring buoys
Make mooring a breeze with our unsinkable buoys.
The Rotax range of mooring buoys includes four sizes:
40, 64, 120 and 200 L.
They feature a center hole with an interior diameter of 26 mm or 63 mm, ideal for buoy ropes, chains or rods.
We offer reinforced buoy rods for the 63 mm center hole versions.
18-tonne breaking load with protective rubber.
Our buoys are white as standard. Other colors are available on request.
We also offer the option of buoy marking, designed to withstand all weather conditions.
FURTHER INFORMATION
All of our buoys are made using medium-density polyethylene. We use high-quality (recyclable) materials that are stabilized with anti-UV agents, providing excellent resistance to ultra-violet radiation. Our buoys are resistant to seawater, damage from marine plant and animal life, waves, hydrocarbons, and static ice formation.
All our buoys are foamed: filled with expanded polystyrene balls that form a block for maximum cohesion.
This extremely reliable process ensures that our floats remain unsinkable: your Rotax buoy will withstand propeller blows, heavy impacts, and even intentional vandalism, all without ever leaking.
The quality of the EPS foam is regularly checked using a system that measures its water absorption capacity.

FOAMING
All of our buoys are “foamed”.
The buoys are filled with expanded polystyrene balls that form a block for maximum cohesion.
Our extremely reliable and unique expansion process ensures that our buoys remain unsinkable even if the plastic envelope is torn.
100% TESTED
100% of our products are individually tested, ensuring consistent floatability for at least 15 years: your Rotax buoy will withstand propeller blows, heavy impacts, and even intentional vandalism, all without ever leaking.
We carry out full-immersion testing of the water absorption rate, float thickness, watertightness, and mechanical strength when production is complete.
EASY TO INSTALL
Our buoys are available with rods as an optional extra. Easy to assemble and install, the buoys require only minimal maintenance thanks to their reliability.
